Occasional Word in Merechi: cúlü

cúlü  ['CULU] ['kulu] n. root vegetable native to the mërèchi continent

The mërèchi cúlü is similar to our parsnips, which they call cúlü apatívi "foreign cúlü". They also think of carrots as a type of cúlü, cúlü càli or "red cúlü".
