Occasional Word in Merechi: këràt and kéri

këràt  [KE 'RA T [ke'4at] n. salt.

kéri  ['KE RI ] ['ke4i] adj. salty (to the taste).

Today I'm striking out into the taste-words. We're starting with kéri, salty.
