Occasional Word in Merechi: kúshi

kúshi  ['KU SHI ] ['kjuSi] adj. sweet (to the taste).

We continue the taste-words with kúshi, sweet. There's not too much else to say about this word; things tasting sweet is a basic and universal human experience.

Examples:

['KU PI SHA ] ['IP SHI SO PN] [TE] ['KU SHI SO PN]

kúpisha ípshisöp'n të kúshisöp'n: Honey is sticky and sweet.

[GA'LATI AC [KA 'KU SHI ] [DI'PARI PA]

galàtia'c kakúshi dipàrip'a: I want unsweetened tea.

  1. To me, honey has this kind of awful taste... It might be technically sweet, but it rips at one's tastebuds like a chainsaw.

    Or maybe that's just me...
